About us
Utah Veterans Massage is a mission-driven massage therapy practice dedicated to providing high-quality, therapeutic bodywork to our nation’s Veterans through the VA Community Care program. We are not your typical spa - our focus is on clinical results, functional improvement, and long-term care.
We’re not a large chain - we’re a close-knit team of dedicated therapists who genuinely care about the people we serve. Our focus is on helping clients find real relief from chronic pain. This isn’t the kind of place for someone who’s just going through the motions, but if you love this work and bring genuine care to it, you’ll feel right at home here.
What you’ll do
- Deliver 50-minute medically necessary massage sessions for Veterans referred through the VA
- Document SOAP notes
- Engage with clients in a clinical, trauma-informed, and compassionate manner
- Participate in hands-on training and feedback sessions
- Collaborate with a supportive team that values both skill and heart
What you get
- A Full, Consistent Schedule: This isn’t a chiropractic office where you’ll get a handful of sessions per week. If you’re a skilled therapist, we can generally keep your schedule consistent and as full as you want.
- Competitive Pay: Start at $40/session
- Advanced Training: We sponsor advanced training in medical massage
- Freedom & Flexibility: You set your availability and we fill it. In return, we count on you to own your side of it: show up on time, keep the commitments you make, chart accurately, and keep your license and liability insurance current.
- Real Impact: Help Veterans improve mobility, reduce pain, and reclaim their quality of life
What we’re looking for
- Licensed Massage Therapist in Utah
- Able to do deep tissue work with targeted deep pressure. It doesn’t have to be your only approach, but it has to be in your tool belt. Surface-level work only isn’t a fit here.
- Hands-on experience as a licensed massage therapist; experienced therapists preferred
- Strong hands-on skills and willingness to learn advanced techniques
- You genuinely want to be working and improving your skills, not just clocking in for a paycheck
- Dependable and self-directed: you manage your own schedule, communicate early, and follow through. Please don’t apply if you’re flaky or have a hard time keeping your scheduled times :)
- Passionate about working with Veterans and providing meaningful care
- Able to chart accurately and communicate clearly with clients and staff
Bonus if you have
- Experience with medical or clinical massage
- Interest in or training in structural integration, deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, myofascial work, or pain science
- Experience working with trauma-informed care or Veterans
